      plug in the two NICs , make sure they get their IRQs properly . Check the hardware list inside the command center to see there is no hardware problem . Give different ip numbers to the NICs : different subnets . Load a routing software so that you can pass traffic from one NIC to the other . There you go !

      Why do you need two network cards? Are you planning to use Windows 98 as some sort of a firewall or a router?

      Usually one would connect the broadband modem to a switch or a hub and then the workstations to the switch or the hub to make the LAN.

      Quit being goofy. Spring for the $60 NetGear RP614 or similar broadband router and do things right. Protect all your computers.
