Static IP or DHCP?

Are you trying to do this with DHCP or Static IP Addresses? How are these workstations connected to the PDC? Are you using a hub or Co-AX cables?

static ip or dhcp

by M.A.S. Matrix In reply to Static IP or DHCP?

they are static and we are connected through a patch panel to the hub. the room has 12 pcs, 6 on each side. morning class is setting up server on one of the workstations and evening is doing the same. our server is going to have 5 workstations connected to it. if you logon to the workgroup, you can see everything, but we cannot logon to the domain. it is saying that they domain can not be found and it is not accesable.
