Create Incoming Connection

by sh_erif In reply to how to create incoming co ...

You can create an incoming connection in various ways in Windows XP:

Open My Network Places, choose View network Connections.

In the Network Tasks Window on the left choose Create a new connection.

Choose Set up an advanced connection > Accept incoming connection and choose the device you want to listen for incoming connections on.

After finishing the wizard you will see the incoming connection icon added to your network connections.

You can also create incoming and outgoing connections in this way:

Open Network connections window and choose Create a new connection.

Choose Set up an Advanced connection then Connect directly to another computer.

Make one machine the host and any other machine the client (the client will do the dialing)

I hope that helps.
