How to get RDP to work in Sharepoint so users don't need know passwords or

By kphayes710 ·
I am trying to figure out if there is a way to make it so on my sharepoint site I can have either a list of server names, or a drop box that the users choose from and when they click that it will RDP to the server they choose and automatically login. I tried making .rdp files for each server and uploading them to the sharepoint site but it will not auto login all the time, not sure why it works sometimes and not others, unless it is using the default.rdp on the local pc. I also made a site where the RDP is embedded in the page but cannot figure out how to make it so they can just choose from a list without needing to remember server names and passwords. Has anyone tried this?

... it's not something I would even consider trying to do. Eliminating all security what-so-ever isn't a very smart thing to do.

Not for users but remote support staff

I am not talking about doing this for regular users. We are a consulting firm and we need a way to allow our engineers access servers of ourr clients but we don't want them to have the passwords of the clients. Storing it on SharePoint would mean they would have to log in to their account on our domain and we can control access through that.
