How to reset lp on Win95

by rnathan_tg . Updated 23 years, 8 months ago

I am working on a Classic Pentium 166 and Win95. Originally this computer was part of a network and printers were hooked up to the network port. Now it is a stand alone computer. I have deleted all the mapped drives and ports. I have removed ‘clients for microsoft networks’ and use ‘windows logon’ I installed epson 777 but it keeps finding a network port. I cannot delete the network port in printer properties, detail. And obviously I get a communication error when I try to print. Somwhere in the registry there is a listing for the network port. How do I rid the computer of the network port listing and reinstate the local lp?

Thanks in advance.
