I have cisco 2500 series router(old one).I am connecting that router to my laptop using CAT 5 cable(RJ 45 in console port of router & other end is in my laptop’s COM prot).I have Windows Vista in my laptop.Vista doen’t have Hyper Terminal in it.so i downloaded Hyper term from some other source but when i open my hyper term it does not show any booting of router.So what the problem should be?Does vista support Hyper Term(downloaded from exetrnal source)?Is anything wrong with my router?
