HSP56 MicroModem + NT

By kazakm ·
I have HSP56 MicroModem on WinNT 4.0 + SP5.
I connect to the Internet via this modem using RAS. Everything is allrigth untill I try to disconnect. Blue screen of death appearing with stop code 0xA. It appears mostly times I do.
What`s wrong ? I think it`s probably driver problem.
Thank you.

I have several experiences with these modems and I do not buy them anymore. If you want to go with a less expensive modem I would get a DSI modem by Creative Labs. They confige and work very nice.

If you have the BSOD when attempting to disconnect in NT RAS, your problem is not the modem. Your Dial-Up Networking components are corrupt. R&R DUN. Remember to kill and resurrect the Dial-Up Service and associated TCP/IP stack.

Sorry, Jerry, but I disagree with you on this one.
