HTML, CSS – Aligning two divs within the header?

    by siderealpower ·

I have created a menu icon with a hover transition, but the problem is that I cannot align this element with the logo div on the same line within the header. I also tried replacing the div for a

      with its respective

    • and fit them in the header, but that still did not do the trick. Maybe I am ignoring some basic positioning rules. I have issues with the positioning of many elements. For instance, it also happens to me that one of the divs is recognised as part of the footer, and the first line of one of the paragraphs is not truly centered. Right now, the web page looks like a total mess.

What am I doing wrong? How can I fix this?

I would really appreciate any assistance.

      Thanks.
