I can't connect XP to server 2000

By kwame_young ·
I have DNS, Active Directory, and DHCP installed and configured on MS server 2000. The DHCP can assign IP address to the XP, I can ping the server from the XP, and also added the XP the server. However, I can't login to the server from the XP. Can anyone help me to solve the problem?

When you saying you cannot connect to the server from the wkst do you mean you cannot log into the AD user account?
Are you able to do it from other wkst's?
Did yo created the PC account in AD or you joined the wkst to the domain (Which will create the computer account automatically in the default computer folder)?
If so what error messages you are getting in eventvwr?
If you can log to your user account (AD account and not a local machine account) and you are trying to remote control to the server did you enable remote control on the server?
Did you added the user (or the group the user belong too) to the group that allowed to remote control to the server?
