Have you tried using AdAware from Lavasoft?

      Download it here: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/

Get the lavasoft adaware program for free…

Another tool is google’s toolbar – It is free and automatically blocks pop-ups.

But you will need the adaware program to search through your system and remove any resident malicious programs that are in your system.

Another good program is Spy-Bot. I’ve found it finds more that Ad-Aware. I can’t remember were to find it, but just type it into the search bar, and there will be a few sites to download it from.

      Good luck

go and get spybot search and destroy for your problem. This works much better than adaware and catches many other things as well.

You know, as I read through all these Q&A’s, everyone wants to blame everything on adware, spyware, virus, worms, etc.

Not that those aren’t usually the culprits, but even when they are, everyone mentions Spybot and Ad Aware. But no one mentions pro-active measures like Spyware Blaster.

Run Spyware Blaster, keep it updated and you’ll find that Spybot almost (not completely) becomes obsolete.
