Hi
We have MS SBS 2003 Running as a terminal server for our accounting package. This all works fine good speed etc. Up untill recently we have used one of the other workstations as a file server just with a shared drive over the lan. We wanted to move these files to a shared folder on the server so that they would be included in the automated backup.
My problem is that now that we are sharing the files off the SBS server the response time for both using the Remote desktop and opening files is very slow.
Will adding a second network card aleviate this congestion of data? and if so what do I need to change in the settings after installing the second card to make sure terminal server uses one card and shared folders uses the other.
PS we just have a basic DSL Router that acts as our DHCP server.
