I would like to learn your opinion about

Hey, somebody's got to get the points, right?

The site is very good; looks quite professional. Unfortunately, I cannot read Russian and the English button translated only some of the page.

IT Union sounds like a good thing over there!

Hi!
Well, not bad case to share a points... Your site is looking nice, has funny JS navigation buttons, and, what is rare thing - Russian content corresponds to English almost completely, and translation is neat! The only suggestion is to adjust the frames size when minimizing a News column - it leaves a lot of blank space now.

In addition, site looks similar when viewing it with NN, IE and Opera. The only suggestion is to adjust the frames size when minimizing a News column - it leaves a lot of blank space now.

1) The Russian/English choice should be permanent instead of once per page. This would be easier for users, and only half as many pages to serve up to English users. You could use cookies or a Java servlet or (I think) Perl.

2) The news ought tobe categorized if you have more than seven items

3) Control overload - I do not need them all

4) Russian "accent" - it is OK. You will never translate some things anyway, like the "Fun and Tears".

5) Some titles ("Laboratory") are links, others ("Manager") are not. Be consistent.

The color is pretty dull although the "tabs" idea for each category is pretty good but I don't think it is useful. Why bother to minimise? It's not like it is taking much space. Do you allow user to customise the look of the site? Be it cookie or whatever. If it is allowed, then tha tabs will be more useful.
Check the links. Why is it that when I click, for example, on the "Kuril'Ka", I got a russian page. When I click on the English tab on the top of the page, it brings me back to the /en/index.phtml? This means that I can never view that page in English.
This is just 2 points that I would like to comment as from a end user point of view, I am supposedly quite annoyed at the page that I would not want to surf it anymore.
Thanks.
