Computer is:
IBM Pentium II 400 Mhz computer
128 MB RAM
6 GB hard Drive
DVD Drive.
NT 4.0 workstation, connected to a LAN.
Original video card is RealMagic Mpeg/DVD Decoder PCI card. which apparently failed.
Any attempt to install a replacement MPEG/DVD decoder card has failed. At boot time the computer emits one long and three short beeps, and there is absolutely no display.
I have tried other video cards: 2 1MB PCI cards, they work fine. I also tested with an NVidia 32MB PCI card – OKbut the memeory recognized by the computer was only 4MB.
The computer has an onboard S# Trio3D video which works fine,
Any suggestion onn how to get the MPEG/DVD card installed, or is it something that is done through NT 4.0?
