IE can’t resolve webpage when I’m wireless

by campbelle . Updated 19 years, 1 month ago

My laptop had been acting fine until I tried to install wireless router at home. Before home wifi router I was able to use other wifi hotspots.
When I try and connect it says I’m connected. I can even go to CMD prompt and ping www.yahoo.com and have it resolve the address. When I try to open a link in IE it immediately tries to resolve by IP address, but never connects.
At work we have a Proxy setting, so when I am outside of work I manually go to IE Tools-Internet Options-Connections-LAN Settings and uncheck the proxy.
