Images on Logon Banner

By ramr2k ·
I would like to know if the logon banner could also include an imagewhich could be pulled from a network share. If so how do we achieve it?

The images might keep changing frequently so that the users can able to get information even before they login to domain.

I have windows2003 with GP in place.

Not very secure

I don't know why you would want users or anyone for that matter to have access to information without logging into the domain. Making them log in ensures that that user has the proper access to do so. Making information availble without logging in.... you might as well just give everyone your administrator password.

I am trying to give some general information to users or an daily updates released by management to users while logging in. I do not want to have the information as a desktop wallpaper. A simple .html screen which pops-up during loging where the user can read information and then login. What are the security concerns to be looked at?

Thanks for the reply. but when i tried to download the tool, i got the below error message:

The key you provided for file download was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on Mediafire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or Mediafire
