My computer has developed an annoying problem of locking up. Crtl+Alt+Del is disabled during the lock, hence I can’t reset via this method. I have to press the warm boot button and start over. The lock has ocurred as much as 6 times in 90 minutes, on line necessitates a new logon.
(dial up internet connection)
Running windows XP (home)
256Mb RAM
Ahtlon AMD 1700+
My heat sensor tells me right now the CPU is 117F degrees hot. (I have a small prog. that informs of these conditions)
Please, I need a solution before I tear the rest of my hair out.
