We have 2 remote sites connect into a Win 2003 Terminal Server through a VPN tunnel set up in each site’s router.
One site connects in fine, the other is reporting slowness issues. To connect, each user just uses a RDP connection because the VPN is already put in place.
I understand that site to site slowness can depend on the Internet connection, but is there anything I can look for? I wasn’t part of the setup or integration for the sites, so I’m sure I’m missing a setting or 2 after the fact.
In testing, the “slow” site’s router has a <2ms ping time to the main server. However, a computer's ping time is around 55ms - 65ms. All user machines are running XP Pro and servers are running Win Server 2003.
