I’ve been trying to install Pinnacle’s DV500 DVD drivers. System is;
MSI 845 PE3 mainboard
Northwood P4 2.0 Gig processor
Seagate Barracuda 7200 hard drives
768Mb PC2100 Kingston ram
Leadtex Nvidia GeForce4 440 MX (64Mb) graphics card
The installation process finishes instantly with an error sign (not saying much except that there was an error). ‘PCI to PCI bridge’ is the problem. The card is recognized, the software handy, but the audio codecs won’t take, and the system keeps trying to install the pci to pci bridge. How can I get my machine to accept the pinnacle card? Is the pci to pci bridge a windows problem, or is it pinnacle’s?
