Hi, depending on your throuhput and the number of users on both sites you could deploy site to site VPN, Lynksys BEFSX41 routers have VPN capability, I use them before and they work fine with 30 users, set up is simple.
good luck!

If your running microsoft server 200 or 2003 you could also set up a Point to point VPN connection. It seems to be pretty stable and has worked well for me so far.

Make a small payment to the local ISP's and get static IP's addresses. Then set up the point to point VPN, its the best way to set up two networks.

Using the Routing and Remote access utility provides wizards to complete this procedure. Remember to add the users to use remote access.

Once set up properly with the routers in the same utility, its also possible to set up remote users in much the same way.

Most adsl connections have an upload speed of 300k.

If most of the files you transfer are small, 2k or so this will not make a big difference.

But if you plan on transfering large files, say video or large graphics then you will problably not be happy with the transfer time.

Remember your download can only get as fast as the upload machine.

Good Luck Lee
