Started a few weeks ago. Sometimes when the pc is powered on, it won’t boot. Doesn’t go to bios. I can hear the case fan on high as it does at first boot, I hear the HD and see the Optical drives activity lights flash.
Sometimes it comes right up, sometimes it takes 5 hard boots.
Nothing has been changed hardware or software wise in several months.
PC was a ‘cheapo sale’ at Best Buy but it was good setup. Just thought I would get more than 1 year out of it. I still have an old 2000 compaq running 24×7 as a server with not issues.
I have tried resetting all cables and connections in and out but not change. Heat is not an issue. Is this an intermittent MB or Power Supply issue?

I searched many forums but all started in the discussion forum and were told to move it to the Question forum (for obvious reasons) but I couldn’t ever pick up the thread at that point.
