System Windows 98 (Dan Computer, and Dan internal Modem.)
An intermittent problem, sometimes it takes ten or twenty tries to dial my ISP. I have tried a variety of ISP?s. All suffer this intermittent problem which is over and above the odd ?knock back? everyone gets from time to time with their internet connection.
I suspect that the problem is that my modem and the ISP modem are not talking to one another properly, or this an obscure setting on my DUN connection that is causing the problem. Is there any way I could test this theories? Finally, remember it does work sometimes!
