I have a LAN(172.19.50.0) that currently connects to the Inet via a server using MS Inet sharing(no static ip – DSL connection ).I also have a router already on LAN(172.19.50.1) I now need to create a more secure LAN and Inet access. I want to deploy a screened host firewall with a packet filter router scenario. I now have a server with 2 NICs and another router with 2 NICs. I was given a class C static IP with def. gateway & DNS adds. from my ISP (DSL connection). I’ve not been able to get the set-up to work I think I have mis-configured the IP adds. on the devices. I’m not sure at which ends to put what addresses
