I am working on my brothers comp and he is having some issues. He is on windows 7 with google chrome installed as his browser. every once in a while it will pop with the internet is not responding. I checked with him and found a time that it actually happened and checked the event log. The only thing that I could find in there is as follows (Name resolution for the name isatap.hr.cox.net timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.) Could this be dns not resolving with the ISP’s dns servers? If that is the case is there anyway we can make it work better? Or is this something that the ISP has to do? If it is not the situation is there anything I can do locally to help the situation? Any help is much appreciated.
