Internet Site Freeze

Using Mindspring dial-up and I.E., my computer will only go to one web site -- Troma.com
When I type in any web address, I either get troma.com or "the page cannot be found"
No viruses have been detected. I ran Stinger-1-2003.
I have deleted temp files and unchecked "web addresses" for content autocomplete
Help!

I downloaded Ad-Aware, but it didn't detect my problem.

It sounds as though your DNS settings in your TCP/IP properties are not correct,
go to your dial up connection, right-click the Mindspring icon, go to properties, select the networking tab and highlight you tcp/ip connection and click properties....

Once here you should be able to see you dns server settings, call Mindspring and verify what your settings should be

Web site had created a proxy host site on my machine. Solved.

It seems I have a virus that redirects all of my web traffic to this single site. My e-mail server is working, but I cannot connect with any web sites other than Troma.com
