Your using a VPN for one. That's always a delicate thing. I will give you some various beginning t/s steps and you let me know.

Information We Need:
Who's your ISP?
What kind of connection?
What browser are you using?
What do you normally use your Cisco VPN Client for?
Has it always worked? When did it last work?

The error could lie in many different places and we need to narrow it down.

The following need to be completed with your VPN on and your VPN off. (You'll be doing these steps twice)..if you choose to follow these steps.

1) Open up your CMD prompt. Utilizing the "ping" command...and the "nslookup" command..try a website you know always works. Type in... ping If it comes back timed out, type in... nslookup and then ping (IP ADDRESS HERE). You are basically bypassing the DNS resolve at this point. This will verify it's not a DNS issue.

2) Try connecting to an http: website and a https: website. HTTP: goes through port 80. HTTPS: goes through port 443 commonly when the internet browsing is's usually a problem with port 80...especially when being used with VPN / Routing Scripts/ ISA Servers.

Those are basic t/s steps, with pertinent information that can assist us with figuring this out. In situations such as these, it's important to have as much information as possible.

Please post back with the above information, I'll be playing on Tech Republic all day.
