Internet Usage

By icstuff ·
I have client running a shared internet connection over a Peer to Peer network. And would like to know if there is a way to log which user is opening certain web sites. Wat program would work the best. Preferably a free or cheep option.

Honestly, I would perhaps setup a proxy server on the machine that's sharing the internet connection.

You can then relay the internet browsers on the other machines to hit that proxy server to get out to the internet. Depending on the proxy server you pick, you can get extensive logging.

I've used WinProxy in the past and I believe their licensing starts at a little under $100 for 5 users.

Good luck!
