I run a medical practice with an internal network, and off site network management. we had a T1 line (758K) and replaced it with VDSL (faster). We use a Sonicwall router, but it requires a static IP address.
VDSL allegedly does not support static IP addresses, but I have learned that VDSL2 modem/bridge to ethernet equipment is capable of providing an static IP address for the router.
1. Any ideas on how to create an static IP address for my router.?
2, Is there equipment that will accomplish this (modem, bridge, etc?)??
3. Any ideas on how to accomplish this task????
