is it Possibel to get External IPAddress with in the Lan?

hi all,
I have lan network in that network i have one server.I want to get external IPAddress when I make a request to server(through my application https://some.com).from my lan network system(which is their in LAN Network)

is it Possible?
if yes how?
if NO why?

pls help me its urgent

Yes it is possible...

You would need to NAT the External IP to your Internal IP at your firewall. Specific instructions depend on your specific hardware involved (firewall) Can you tell us what hardware you are using?

Or you could put the server in a DMZ etc. Lots of options...

They're easy. There are many websites that will give you your IP - like

http://www.whatismyip.com
http://whatismyipaddress.com/
http://www.hostip.info/

and many others
