I have a compaq deskpro,64 MB ram,10GB hdd,cdrom drive, can i add an internal IDE CD Writer(hp 9100) and reuse my old dynalink modem(1456 vqh-t4)?Is it possible and why or if not why? I have a computer made up of parts ASUS SP97-V motherboard, AMD K^-233 processor,128 MB ram,has no USB ports (but has 3 spare PCI slots), runs windows NT 4.0 workstation,could I upgrade to windows 2000? and use USB CD-Writer and modem? if so why, if not why?
