Is it possible to foward emails from the drop folder of an IIS SMTP server?

Hello all,

I’ve gone and setup a Windows 2000 server with IIS SMTP server. It works great except for when it puts emails with its domain name into the drop folder. I know this is the way the server is suppose to work however is there anyway to have those messages sent else where? We don’t have an Exchange or POP3 server on site since we just use our ISP’s POP3 server. We use to use our ISP’s SMTP server as well, but with the amount of emails we send out daily we were having issues using their server (we are a call center and most of our customer’s messages are delivered to them via email or alpha pages which are sent via email). We aren’t going to buy Exchange so that isn’t a viable option. We do have a spare Windows 2003 server sitting around which we could use since we could setup a POP3 server on it, however this server has other plans and we don’t want to waste it on email. We also enjoy having to not manage an email server :p Any suggestions are appreciated.

Tim
