To begin with, it's java script

by Deadly Ernest In reply to javascript

next point - you have this line:

<script type="text/javascript" src="JScript.js"></script>

but no script in the script area marked with the ??? in this copy

<script type="text/javascript" src="JScript.js">???</script>

........

next point - this crap is usually the very top of the page as it tells the system what you're using.

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

next point '<' is used to mark the start of an instruction area but you have no '>' to close the instruction area - then you follow it with marks and no instructions - the '<>' at the end.

<%@ Page Language="VB" AutoEventWireup="false" CodeFile="Default.aspx.vb" Inherits="_Default" <>

Now, having done you class assignment, I suggest you take time to purchase and read a good book on how to write code.

We can't see the code.....

by ThumbsUp2 In reply to javascript

You can't paste code here in the forums without the forums trying to execute it. So, we can't see everything.

If you need to paste something, paste it without the < and > brackets.
