I have a network with 30 windows XP Pro Systems.n all connected to same workgroup.i connected this network with 2 D-Link 24 port 100/10mbps Unmanageable Switches. The problem is when i’m downloading some kind of files like (*.exe, *.dwg)from file server to other client or one client to other client the file transfer is very fast.100MB file takes less than a minute. But To download some kind of files like(*.jpeg, *.tmp)1MB file taking 5 Min n are very Very slow.
Please give me the solution to speedup these file transfer
