Jumper Settings

By PC_Techie, MCP ·
Hello,

I have an old Packard Bell Legend 10CD computer. Does anyone out there know the jumper location and setting for resetting the BIOS password? I'm trying to troubleshoot the PC for my church, and nobody seems to know the Admin password for the BIOS.

Thank you for your help!!

Kevin

US support for Packard Bell products is handled by https://www.priorityonesupport.com/Home.asp

You can download system drivers, manuals and view the system configuration and the other information you seek.

Don't know if this applies but you could try removing the battery from the motherboard. This should reset the bios but that could also be a problem. Just throwing an option at you.

Thank you, that was one option I had considered. What I did was remove the jumper nearest to the battery. This did reset the password, without losing any of the BIOS settings.

Thank you for your response.
