I have encountered a keyboard port that will not recognize when a keyboard is connected. It is a PS/2 style (mini-din) connector. I have tried at least three different keyboards all with the same result. I was able to connect a USB keyboard that worked but I couldn’t get into setup with it. Any thougts as to why the motherboard will not see a keyboard attached to the keyboard port? Any thoughts about why the USB keyboard will not get me into setup?
