I am a recent graduate from Telecom field (BS) and also an start-up C++ programmer .
I’m considering to move into windows programming ; I wonder if you can tell me considering
my Telecom degree and also the tendency toward fields like Image processing and Mobile
communications what options I have toward increasing my knowledge in programming which
is also come handy in the fields that I’m interested in : Is it VC++ .Net , VC++ or J2*E ?
And also if the choice is VC++ .Net , is it possible to jump straight to it for me who can just write Unmanaged C++ programs under DOS or there is a need to learn sth in between like
VC++ 6.0?
For every choice of yours please also introduce a book that I can build on my existing knowledge
