LDAP and ISA 2004

By nodidat ·
Hi

Am trying to allow an external comapny to access our company's AD using LDAP port 389 via our isa server 2004 and having difficulty to get them access. How do I grant them access in this situation?

URGENTLY NEEDING HELP?

Zak

Describe your topology

In general, this is done either via a VPN or Terminal Services (or the two combined).

When you say 'external company', do you mean over the Internet?

I hope you are not considering the use of LDAP over the Internet? This would be a bad idea.

Hi

We have 2008 ent. server with Hyper-V that is running a DC server and Exchange 2003 server.ISA server 2004 is on its ownr box.

We will not be using LDAP over the internet, we will be connecting via their IP address range that they (external company) have given us.

You are on a private leased line?

How are you connecting to their IP address?

the question is whether there are firewalls between your network and theirs?
