hi im trying to learn networking.I was thinking about buying a used cisco switch and router. I was wondering if that would be helpful to learn cisco switches and routers.The question i have though is that useful to do.Cisco has so many make and models and im worried that the scenario will end up being like cars.Just because you buy a 1994 car it different than 2026 and therefore u dont neccessary learn what you need to know.Is it like that with buyin cisco equipment. Im trying to learn how to configure passwords, create protocols, create vlans,subnets, learn commands etc. Can i learn that on old equipment.
