    Linux vs Windows

    Why do Some people prefer Linux over Windows, i mean Windows is up to date so why would someone want to use an outdated versions.

      It is a matter of preference; they essentially do the same thing. It’s like asking if an Android phone is better than an iPhone.

      Linux isn’t an outdated version of Windows. It’s just another OS.

      One reason people use it that it is free, while you have to pay for Windows. Another is that having experience in Linux is a pro for getting some jobs.

      Once Chrome launches the OS doesn’t seem to matter. Use what works.
