I have a small training lab set up. One server and one client. Server is 2008 standard and the client is XP pro sp2. I recentley had to reinstall the server and i used the same domain name. but the xp doesn’t see the domain. i used the same ip address for the dns and everything is pretty much the same. how can i fix this. i try to ping the xp machine but i get “request timed out”. when i ping by name “office” the ip is recognized but other than that i can’t anything.
