Logon scripts and Folder redirection not working

By glenn22 ·
I have 2 windows 2008 enterprise servers acting as domain controllers, they have a default GPO in place. The GPO is set to run a logon script, apply folder redirection, and also put in place security measures (not allow users to access admin tools, change the computer time, etc).

It seems that the security measures work just fine, however, the logon scripts and folder redirection do not. They simply do not run and don't seem to throw any repeatable error. What I did notice is that if i log on at the domain controller itself, the logon scripts and folder redirection function as they should, just not when I am logging in at a client PC. The client PCs are Windows XP service pack 3.

I should also mention that I've tried running gpupdate /force, removed and re-added the computer/user from the domain, logged in different users, etc, all to not avail.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
