I recently tried installing a larger hard drive to a 486 pc using Windows 95 already.
The BIOS does not support large hard disks,
therefore it could not read the new drive.
I removed it and put back the old hard disk
with win 95. It boots o.k. to win 95, but
now I can not print anything. I have an HP
Laserjet 5P series which I removed and installed again with the drivers to no avail.
How can I reset the BIOS to the original
settings. It is an AST Premium II BIOS version 2.2
or can I use the Maxdrive or EZdrive
to see if it will support the larger drive and where can i get this software?
