I have searched Windows KB, Symantec, and a general web search without finding any reference to this file. Do you have a Logitech mouse/keyboard or Lexmark printer/scanner? If so, I would suspect a device driver or autoupdate, or device scanning file for this device. Do you get where I am going with device manufacturers that start witk L? It could be that this device is contacting the manufacturer's website to look for updates?

Do you mean LSvr.exe (NOT LSver) If so, check out the URL below. If it is LSver, then it could still be a variant. Regardless, you should run Ad-aware and/or Spybot S&amp to hopefully remove it. It is possibly in your startup group as well; check your Configuration Utility (msconfig from the Run... command) and uncheck it if it exists.
