We have a mostly Windows environment, set up with Active Directory, and recently it has been my job to add the Macs to the domain. Most everything has gone well, except we cannot ping the Macs by hostname. We can ping their IP’s, their names are listed in the DHCP server, but they are not getting updated to the DNS server (the DHCP and DNS server being the same Windows Server 2003 server). Can anyone help?
