Two servers are domain controllers right now.
call them File and Print.
they are also the primary and secondary DNS servers.
I have tasked two blade servers to be DNS servers, (W2k3) run dcpromo on them, and moved all the fsmo’s to the new ones (DC1 and DC2).
I think that all I have to do is swap IP addresses and make DC1 and DC2 have the IP’s of File and Print, and demote File and Print, and everything should be transparent.
Am I missing anything?
