when connecting cisco PVST+ switches with an 802.1d non-cisco switches using 802.1Q trunk, I get the port blocked by cisco saying
Inconsistent port type
Native vlan is 1 on both sides –
the only way to get this working is to switch off BPDU by using BPDU filer –
this however means that STP is not running across the switches …..
