Right. Where to begin. My little business offers home support for IT and I’m doing quite well. One day I may even make enough to be worthwhile but hey this is I.T.
I took on maintenance of a new server installation. I’ve set up a VPN and done other bits and pieces, but I can’t seem to connect to any of my shared folders remotely.
I dial up, I try to map the network drive but it can’t find the folder.
Does anybody have a few steps that I could run through to check things are ok on the server? I’m really very very green at this and in the immortal words of Kermit the Frog, It’s not easy being green.
I’ve been pulling my hair out over this! Please help…
