    Mapping a network drive

    I have mapped a network drive to another computer in the office. Sometimes it will appear with a small red “X” on the drive. This is supposed to mean that it is disconnected. But it still connects. There is a program we use that looks for that X…is there any way to program the the “X” not to appear?

      autodisconnect setting

      There is an autodisconnect setting. Check Microsoft with that keyword.
