I have recently upgraded to windows 2000 professional from windows 98 second edition. With 98 I had no problems with my lg drd8080b dvd rom and lg ced8042b cd-r but with 2000pro they dont even show up. I am unable to find these drivers for 2000 anywhere even though they are supposedly on the 2000 cd. There is also the question of more than 2 ide devices like with nt. Do I just need proper drivers? If so where can I get them? Not at the manufacturers or microsoft web sites. Or do I need to edit the registry to allow more IDE connections. Or is there a third choice I am overlooking?
