Meta Search

I created my Meta Search, SeekPirate.com , and tried to make is clean and user-friendly. It’s a pay-to click type, and was written in PHP and runs of a SQL database.

Visually, I like the look, but feel it’s seriously lacking something and won’t ever compete with Google or others at this moment.

Am I wrong in thinking that maybe I need to make it a niche search site to even get noticed and generate traffic?

I’ve been thinking of adding RoundCube Webmail a PHP (GNU) script to offer webmail to people there. But, just feel the future of search sites might be niche only, unless I can figure out a new style of searching to optimize and help people on the web.

Just wanted to see what peoples thoughts were. I’m not posting to advertise or anything, I really do care about having something out here on the Internet to help people and make their lives a little more organized.
