Microsoft Access over the web

By kevinmac1 ·
I have developed a Access Database that we would like to let people access over the internet. The program would be stored on our server and customers could log in and use. Any advice on the conversion process?

Delayed but finally available solution!

Hey there,

Although it's a while since your post, I wonder if you might still have an issue hosting Access applications on the web. A solution to this problem, which allows an application to be visible in a web browser verbatim (with no migration or capital investment on your end), finally exists.

EQL Data, a company I co-founded, has been working on this problem for some time, and our newest product, Access OnWeb, does exactly this.

Why not checkout for more information *and* a live demo of what the traditional Northwind database looks like online.

Please have a look; we recently even started testing appliances we can ship which would allow you to host OnWeb applications locally (rather than from our servers), which you might be particularly interested in.

ODBE using ASP server pages to access it works well. I use my own server to do this as I am abit of a control freak.

Dreamweaver can make this connection for you
